Car Vinyl Wrap

When your car needs a new look, consider car wrapping. For the last few decades, this technique was mainly used by companies to have their names and logos applied to their vehicles. Since high end sport cars were more and more wrapped instead of painted - think of the matte black cars- the popularity of car wrap vinyl increased. It is now a good way for everyone to give a car a new color or a unique print. And it doesn't need to be a sports car - family cars can have a car wrap too.

How does car wrapping work?

The car is covered with a film. This film is very flexible and when it's heated it can be folded into every shape. The film is a solid vinyl sticker, which can have every color you'd like. Wrapping a whole car only takes two days. Wrapping just the mirrors or the doors is done even quicker.

Painting versus wrapping

For decades, people have been painting their cars. So why switch to this new technique? Car wrapping has a lot of advantages over painting. We made you a list.

Taking care of your car wrap vinyl

When you take good care about your 'new' car, the vinyl will last for 5 years or longer. Do drive your car too often to the car wash, but wash it yourself with normal car shampoo. Use some silicone free wax after washing the car. There are of course several specialized products around for keeping wrapped car shining.
